Just a one more

Alex's old First Grade teacher was surprised with a discovery that she was expecting twin girl.  They were born back in January.  The two cuties got some quilt love.

Creature of Habit . . . Part 1

I am a creature of habit. When I get out of a habit, it is difficult to get back into it. So since I was without a dependable camera, I got out of the habit of taking pictures. NOT A GOOD HABIT! So here are several project I've done since September, though habit was broken and several are pictureless.

Broken Camera SUCKS!

So I've had to pull out our dinosaur of a camera due to the other being unusable. This means I've not taken any pictures of my recent projects.
There is this one project that I've been working on for over 3 years that I took a picture of. I'm so excited that it is done. Cross stitching can be time consuming, but why this project has taken so long is due to the fact I usually spend 4+ nights a week sewing clothes, toys or quilting. But it is done! Now I can move on with my cross stitching projects!

Summer Fun

So as many of you, I've been caught up in the summer busyness for keeping the kids entertained. Many projects have been completed or started, but I've got a broken camera. And I'm still trying to figure out if the 10 years old camera pictures look good enough to post. But I'll be joining in Hopeful Threads in making boy shorts. Hopefully, you'll join in too. If you can't sew, maybe you can consider donating fabric to the cause. Keep cool, I know NC is pretty killer right now.

Revitializing Sale

All Mom will agree, kids are hard on clothes. Holes and stains are drawn like magnets to kids clothes. So I thought we do a go green inspired type of sale to begin the Valentine day clothing off right. Last year I posted two applique shirts, and this year I have too more to offer! So I'll add an applique to an shirt for $5. Pull out those stained or just don't know what to do with shirt and I'll turn them into some of the cutest heart shirts you've seen. So you can pick from a fabric applique like those last year, a fluffy applique like the Christmas Shirt or a button applique.

OR choice a combo shirt of any two for $8.
